We would like to share feedback from Alberto Gordo, father of a 3-year-old boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who have purchased the ABA DrOmnibus App. Below is the story of a father from Quebec who experienced first hand how the app benefited his son with autism.

My name is Alberto Gordo and we live in Blainville, Quebec. I am a father of a 3 year old boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I would like to share my experience. I found DrOmnibus when I was looking for a game or app for my son to help him with his condition, soft of a ABA therapy toys or game but using tablet. So basically, DrOmnibus company provides a 14 day trial of their app, so I tried and it really helps my son. But then 14 days trial is not long enough. So, I email to DrOmnibus and asked if they can extend my account. I have in contact with their customer support Maria and they are looking to expand their product.

Is Aldryn receiving ABA therapy outside of app?

Yes, Aldryn is going to a private ABA therapist, it’s a once a week for two hours. The minimum is at least twice a week but unfortunately, we can only afford once a week. He’s not going to school yet. We pull him out from a day care because as per his psychologist, it will hard for him to develop in a bilingual environment. So, we’re still looking for an English day care for him that suits our budget.

The way they do an ABA therapy session is 1-1.  They do an initial evaluation and gave us outlined program based on the result of the evaluation and those are their activity for the entire agreed total number of hours. In my son’s case, every 6 months, after that they said they do evaluation again and give new program.

His therapist charged us CAD $40 per hour, that’s the lowest that we could find. Usually, it’s ranges from $40 to $60 per hour. And it is more expensive if the therapist needs to meet your child at school.

The DrOmnibus App helps to get more ABA therapy at home.

My wife and son are always at home. Since my son was diagnosed with ASD, my wife has to give up her job to focus on helping my son. We pull him out from the daycare because, as per his psychologist, he has to be in an English school. But we can’t afford private schools and it is really hard to get a spot to public English schools – still in waiting list. That’s why my wife and I are trying to find ways to help our son and DrOmnibus App is really helpful. And I just love the Overview or Report, as you can see he shows interest in vegetables and fruits. He already started playing the other categories too.
